    Progressive States Network is proud to be a convener of this year's Good Jobs Green Jobs National Conference, taking place from April 16-18 in Washington, D.C.

  • Hearing: The State-by-State and Congressional Assaults on Workers' Rights and the Middle Class

    On March 8, 2011, Tim Judson, Workers' Rights Policy Specialist for Progressive States Network, joined workers from Wisconsin, Ohio, and Indiana and experts from around the nation in testifying at a House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee hearing on the state-by-state assault on workers and the middle class, calling the attacks "a full-scale campaign to dismantle the very foundations of America’s social and moral progress over the last century," and highlighting the responsible, progressive alternatives being advanced in the states that aim to "shore up working families, get people back to work, and sustain vital public services and infrastructure".

  • 2008 Progressive States Network Legislative Leadership Retreat

    Limited to a select group of 50 progressive state legislators, the Legislative Leadership Retreat will be a unique event, unlike typical conferences. First and foremost, Progressive States Network (PSN) has organized this Retreat to strengthen the state progressive movement. By giving forward-thinking state lawmakers the opportunity to meet and form lasting bonds with their peers and gain important insights, lessons, and best practices to guide their work back home, we aim to fortify our collective commitment to delivering progressive change in our statehouses, thereby reforming America’s politics and advancing the policies our country so desperately needs.
