Corruption rears its ugly head again in Albany.
Sen. Tom Libous joins the other 34 members and representatives in Albany who have been tainted, charged, indicted and arrested for alleged conduct unbecoming a public servant. We all know the problems. They make headlines and catch media attention.
Are there solutions? Yes. What don’t we know? How we can shake the lethargy and the apathy to rally the troops and the political will to demand them?

Republican candidate for Governor Rob Astorino made big statements today at a press conference outside of Binghamton City Hall, calling for regional debates with Governor Cuomo.
He wants to debate issues like taxes and fracking. Last night Asterino spoke out at a rally in front of the Joint Landowners Coalition of New York in Owego where anti-frackers were present.
New York Republican candidate Rob Astorino and his running mate Christopher Moss were in Owego yesterday, speaking to a group of about 200 pro-fracking supporters.
Astorino delivered his stump speech flanked by American flags and signs that read “Natural Gas Now” and “Give our Families a Future.”

TIOGA COUNTY, N.Y. — Anti-fracking protesters believe gubernatorial candidate Rob Astorino needs to take a second look at scientific research and change his stance on natural gas exploration.
“We’re here to bring attention to the fact that he is not being truthful with his representation of fracking and that it’s making people sick,” said Isaac Silberman-Gorn, Citizen Action community organizer.
